On Sunday, May 12th, following the 4:00 pm screening of AIN'T IN IT FOR MY HELATH: A FILM ABOUT LEVON HELM, a post-screening panel discussion with filmmaker Jacob Hatley, Tennessean music writer Peter Cooper, and Black Crowes' drummer Steve Gorman, will be held.

About AIN'T IN IT FOR MY HEALTH: A FILM ABOUT LEVON HELM:
Levon Helm was in the middle of an intensively creative period in the years just before his death in 2012. In addition to establishing the Midnight Ramble concert series as a must-see music experience, Helm's album Dirt Farmer earned the Grammy for Best Traditional Folk Album in February of 2008, and in November of that same year, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Helm among its list of “100 Greatest Singers of All Time.” This documentary finds Helm seizing both health setbacks and newfound vigor and delivers a moving portrait of a musician in his latter years. AIN’T IN IT FOR MY HEALTH has taken a long route to theaters. It got its start on the 2011 festival circuit (and won the Music FIlms/Music City award at the Nashville Film Festival that year).
