David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly invite you into a magical universe where nothing is what it seems! Babysitting infant step-brother Toby on a weekend night isn’t young Sarah’s (Connelly) idea of fun. Frustrated by his crying, she secretly imagines the Goblins from her favorite book, “The Labyrinth,” carrying Toby away. When her fantasy comes true, a distraught Sarah must enter a maze of illusion to bring Toby back from a kingdom inhabited by mystical creatures and governed by the wicked Goblin King (Bowie).

“One of the more dazzling films in [Henson’s] canon… It's a real masterpiece of puppetry and special effects, an absolutely gorgeous children's fantasy movie.” —Michael Wilmington, Chicago Tribune

“Perhaps LABYRINTH was preparing its audience for the explosion of YA, the teen as self-possessed heroine inheriting the Earth, scorched though it may be…the Katnisses and Bellas and Hermiones….” —Alison Stine, Atlantic
