Tree limbs cast their coal-black shadows like claws across the dusty concrete. Rustling leaves sigh as the last blistering rays of summer make way for crisp autumnal delights. Strange faces in shop windows survey the desolate streets. All is quiet… until a cacophonous Cthulhic cry sounds out the clarion call of the season’s cruelest cinematic stamina stress-test and echoes through the canyons of Music City: “12 Hours of Terror draws nigh!”
Returning for its 15th incarnation — our quinceañscare-a if you will — the Belcourt’s annual all-night onslaught of eerie evocations again assaults the eyes and ears of our eager audience. For the uninitiated, this one-of-a-kind Nashville tradition features seven mystery horror movies screened on the Belcourt big screen from 10pm to 10am replete with a costume contest, ghastly giveaways, horrific hosts, and even our very own mythologically-dense house band. Additionally, Press Play Video will be set up in the lot before the event to help us celebrate Video Store Day. Tickets sell out fast, so become a member to ensure a chance to grab tickets early with our members-only on-sale on Mon, Sep 14 at 10am. If any tickets remain, they will go on sale to the rest of the world the following day. Be there and be scared.
