Nicolas Cage is back on the tear. Having churned out a steady stream of genre numbers in varying modes of freak, he lowers Nic Notch to simmer in this slower-burn look at a legendary chef-restaurateur in Oregon who’s forsaken his trade in favor of a camp in the country for hunting truffles with his beloved foraging pig. When said pig is kidnapped, he calls upon truffle salesman (Alex Wolff) on a mission to nearby Portland to find the pig.
