This summer, the Belcourt β with support from the @nashfilmguild β is hosting three Film Kitchen Meetups for high school filmmakers! Film Kitchen is a student-led community that provides young people a chance to connect, collaborate and build networks β and itβs been created by a participant of the Belcourtβs High School Film Club and Strong Leads Film Seminar for High School Girls.
The Film Kitchen Meetups will take place on three Sundays β June 11, July 9, August 13 β from 2-3:00pm at the Belcourt (in our upstairs Jackson Education and Engagement Space). Each meetup will feature guest speakers from Nashvilleβs filmmaking community and provide space for teen filmmakers to socialize, discuss their creative projects, and collaborate.
The meetups are designed for high school-age teens who are already making films or just getting started. Theyβre free β but RSVPs are needed. You can RSVP via the link in our bio, or at www.belcourt.org/filmkitchen.
