OscaRRR Picks + Best Picture Marathon

As we gear up to celebrate another year in cinema at A Red Carpet Evening on Sunday, March 12, we present our yearly Best Picture Marathon — minus one film that's still very much in wide release (AVATAR) — and plus a handful of picks from other categories and perhaps a corrective of our own. Our OscaRRR Picks make up the bulk of the weekend of Friday-Saturday, March 3-5, and the Best Picture Marathon begins in earnest on Monday, March 6 with Music City Mondays screenings of TÁR and ELVIS. (Note that while each film is scheduled to screen only a handful of times, additional screenings may be added if time allows.)

Guillermo del Toro’s PINOCCHIO

Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro reinvents the classic story of a wooden puppet brought to life in this stunning stop-motion musical tale. Nominated for Best Animated Feature Film. A special prerecorded 30-min Q&A and puppetry demonstration with Guillermo del Toro follows the screening.
